  1. How High The Moon
In cart Not available Out of stock

How High The Moon is not only a classic standard that has been performed by many artists over the years, the song became the flagship example of an overdubbed monophonic multiple guitar and vocal that essentially launched the career of Les Paul and Mary Ford back in 1951.
George and Les became friends a year later. George learned a great deal of guitar and recording technique from Les and, in later years, even started to collaborate on a book to put all these processes and styles on paper. Les loved George and Laurie’s recordings and soon their friendship became a mutual bond of kindred spirits.
So enjoy George and Laurie’s rendition of How High The Moon and know that it is a labor of love and an ultimate expression of total respect for, and remembrance of, their lifelong comrade in arms.
